Caterpillar Scholarship Fund

Two-thirds of Caterpillar scholarships in each program where tuition assistance is offered will be designated for minority population and/or other disadvantaged individuals. Recipients shall be sophomores or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer, Metallurgical, Mechanics, Industrial, Material Science, Manufacturing. Students must maintain a 2.8/4.0 gpa or better. Scholars must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, temporary residents who have applied for or been granted amnesty by INS, refugees or asylees, and able to establish employment eligibility under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. While need is not to be a prime consideration, it may be a contributing factor in cases where two or more applicants have apparently equal qualifications.
