Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management majoring in Forestry.
Recipients shall demonstrate enthusiasm for the forestry profession and commitment to the Forestry program.
Recipients shall have a good academic standing, although recipients need not have the highest academic standing.
Recipients shall demonstrate a sincere interest in representing the Forestry student body and the department in a responsible and professional manner.
Preference may be given to students who support departmental travel associated with Fall Forestry Camp by completing required driver training, meeting university vehicle-use requirements, and serving as an authorized volunteer driver.
In selecting recipients, consideration may be given to the student’s reliability, service to classmates and the department, willingness to accept additional responsibility, and professional conduct.
Award amounts and recipients shall be determined by the appropriate departmental recognition and awards committee and department leadership.
