Martha Jean Meyer Geadelmann Leadership Award

1. Shall be full-time degree seeking students at Iowa State University.
2. Shall demonstrate exemplary leadership skills as determined by the administering authority and as evidenced by their active participation in extracurricular activities which involves directing actions, holding office, chairing committees, and/or receipt of awards. Examples of extracurricular activities include involvement in recognized student organizations, professional organizations, or community service.
3. Shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
4. Preference shall be given to residents of eastern Iowa:
a. First preference shall be given to students from Cedar County.
b. Second preference shall be given to students from Jones County.
c. Third preference shall be given to students from rural communities with populations of less than 10,000.
Term: All awards shall be for one (1) year.
This award shall be made available to students with undergraduate class standing.
