Betty Ramus Wahrer Memorial Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business.
2. Recipients shall be students who have overcome substantial educational or economic obstacles, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
3. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
4. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Students from Kossuth County in Iowa. If there are no eligible students from Kossuth County, students from Emmet, Hancock, Humboldt, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Winnebago, or Wright counties in Iowa may be selected.
b. Students majoring in accounting.
This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior or senior class standing.
