Dennis and Kathy Whited Civil Engineering Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be students majoring in civil engineering.
2. Recipients shall be in good academic standing as determined by the administering authority.
3. Recipients shall be United States citizens or permanent residents, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
4. Recipients shall be Iowa residents, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
5. Recipients shall be from one (1) or more of the following groups, as determined by the administering authority.
a. Students participating in academic or industry related research. b. Students participating in an experiential education opportunity such as an internship or co-op. c. Graduate students with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering.
This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate class standing. Transfer students and incoming first year students are not eligible.
