Donald Wayne Moorman Financial Support Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be students who are from one (1) of the following groups, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Students who through the University’s financial aid appeals process have been granted independent financial aid status.
b. Students who at any time since turning age thirteen (13) were orphans (no living or biological or adoptive parent).
c. Students who at any time since turning age thirteen (13) were wards of the court.
d. Students who were legally emancipated minors.
e. Students who were unaccompanied and either homeless or self-supporting and at risk of being homeless.
2. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
