David F. Anderson Mathematics Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Mathematics.
2. Recipients shall be students who have shown exceptional mathematical promise and ability as demonstrated by their grades, standardized test scores, AP exam scores, and/or results in mathematics contests as determined by the administering authority.
3. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Students who are Iowa residents.
b. Students who have participated in regional, state, or national mathematics competitions.
This award shall be made available to students of incoming first-year class standing.
