Hawkey-Thorius Family Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Health and Human Sciences majoring in dietetics or enrolled in the School of Education, with a preference first for students majoring in dietetics.
2. Recipients shall be first-generation college students.
3. Recipients shall be in good academic standing as determined by the administering authority.
4. Recipients shall be involved in community service, as determined by the administering authority.
5. Recipients shall be residents of Illinois, Iowa, or Minnesota in order of preference, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
6. Preference shall be given to students with an interest in childhood nutrition and/or management at a school or hospital as determined by the administering authority.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
