Ana and Ed McCracken Engineering Scholarship
1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
2. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
3. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
4. Recipients shall be residents of the State of Iowa or the State of Illinois, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy. When possible, the selection of recipients shall alternate between students from the State of Iowa and students from the State of Illinois.
5. Recipients shall be well-rounded students, with well-rounded defined as, students with outstanding academic achievement and exemplary leadership attributes as evidenced by at least two (2) leadership or experiential learning opportunities such as, but not limited to, high school club leadership, student organization leadership, community organization leadership, internships, undergraduate research, co-ops, study abroad, work experience related to their field/major, or attendance at leadership conferences, as determined by the administering authority.
This award shall be made available to students of junior or senior class standing.
