Prescott Family Scholarship

1. Recipients shall have been offered admittance to Iowa State University as determined by the administrating authority.
2. Recipients shall demonstrate academic excellence as evidenced by a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
3. Recipients shall have a high level of verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
4. Recipients shall be residents of Boone, Greene, Grundy, Hamilton, Hardin, Marshall, or Tama counties in Iowa as determined by the administering authority. If there are no eligible recipients from those counties recipients shall be residents of Story County in Iowa.
5. Recipients shall be full-time students as determined by the administering authority.
6. Preference shall be given to students who intend to initially live on campus as determined by the administering authority.
This award shall be made available to students of incoming first year class standing.
