Colonel Rod and Sue Gerdes Marine Leadership Award

1.Recipients shall be Marine Corps option students participating in the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) at Iowa State University.
2.Recipients shall display exemplary positive leadership traits and be servant leaders as determined by the administering authority.
3.Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Students who show potential and drive to continue their education but through unforeseen circumstances have not had their need fully met through financial aid and scholarships.
b.Students who are top performing midshipman pursuing a bachelor of science degree.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
