Recipients must be majoring in Ag Business to be eligible.

- The Department of Economics will use information from the import data, general application and CALS conditional application as well as the questions below to assist in the scholarship selection process of Ag Business Scholarships.
Would you like to be considered for Ag Business scholarships administered by the Department of Economics? - Do you have a career interest in any of the following?
- In addition to what was provided on the CALS application, please describe your career plans. You may list up to three top career choices.
- Incoming Freshmen Only
If you are from a production farm, please explain. - Incoming Freshman only: Are you a first-generation student who is fluent in more than one language, including Spanish? If so, please list all languages spoken, including English and/or Spanish.
- The remaining questions are for currently enrolled students only
If you are a member of the Agricultural Business Club and have held a leadership position, please list the position(s). - Describe any internship experiences in ag finance or at a cooperative.
- Do you have any prior convictions for alcohol-related or drug-related offenses?
- Have you studied abroad, attended professional meetings, or conducted research projects?
- If you answered "yes" to the above question, please explain your experiences with studying abroad, attending professional conferences, or conducting research projects.
- Do you have interest in attending a professional or leadership conference (preferably related to the agriculture & food industry) during the 2026-27 academic year? If so, please list any and all conferences you plan to attend during this period.
