Michaelsen Petersen Land Legacy Scholarship in PA-VEAP by Donna Nelson, MD

1. Recipients shall be majoring in animal science or dairy science and accepted into the Production Animal – Veterinary Early Acceptance Program as determined by the administering authority.

2. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:

a. Students from Audubon, Carroll, Crawford, and Shelby counties in Iowa.
b. Students from Adair, Adams, Cass, Clarke, Decatur, Fremont, Guthrie, Harrison, Lucas, Mills, Montgomery, Page, Pottawatomie, Ringgold, Taylor, Union, and Wayne counties in Iowa.
c. If there are no eligible students from the above counties in Iowa, the scholarship shall be opened up to any students from Iowa.

Eligibility: This award shall be made available to students of junior or senior class standing.
