Martha A. King Scholarship in Textiles and Clothing

1. Recipients shall be majoring in Apparel, Merchandising and Design.

2. Recipients shall be residents of Iowa or Nebraska, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.

3. Recipients shall demonstrate exemplary leadership skills as determined by the administering authority and as evidenced by their active participation in extracurricular activities which involves directing actions, holding office, chairing committees, and/or receipt of awards. Examples of extracurricular activities include involvement in recognized student organizations, professional organizations, or community service.

4. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.

Administration: The Donor would like one (1) scholarship of $2,375 awarded in full each spring semester.
