Marilyn J. Bruch-Berg Memorial Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled full-time and majoring in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education. Recipients shall be graduates of an accredited high school in the State of Iowa. Recipients shall be U. S. citizens. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall have been residents of Iowa for a minimum of ten (10) years. First preference shall be given to students who graduated from Ottumwa High School in Ottumwa, Iowa. Second preference shall be given to students with two (2) or more years involvement in choir, piano, band or orchestra. This award shall be made available to students of junior or senior class standing.

The Donor would like these awards to be $1,000 per year with $500 to be awarded for the fall semester and $500 to be awarded for the spring semester. The School of Education shall provide the name of the recipient to the Donor each year.
