Pearson Dietetics International Study Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the dietetics internship program administered by the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition.
2. Recipients shall be participating in the international Dietetics Internship program as determined by the administering authority.
3. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
4. First preference shall be given to students who received their undergraduate degree from Iowa State University as determined by the administering authority.
5. Second preference shall be given to students with an academic focus in nutritional education as determined by the administering authority.
6. Third preference shall be given to students who have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
This award shall be made available to students of graduate class standing.
If the dietetics internship program ceases to be offered, the scholarship will be available to graduate students in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, specifically for an international study experience.
