Armbrecht Family Scholarship in the College of Human Sciences

1. Recipients shall be majoring in one of the following areas:
a. Early Childhood Education
b. Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Studies
c. Apparel, Merchandising and Design
d. Food Science
e. Hospitality Management
2. Recipients shall be Iowa residents, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
3. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority:
a. Students who participated in 4-H,
b. Students with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale,
c. Students of sophomore, junior or senior class standing,
d. Students who demonstrate exemplary leadership skills as determined by the administering authority and as evidenced by their active participation in extracurricular activities which involves directing actions, holding office, chairing committees, and/or receipt of awards. Examples of extracurricular activities include involvement in recognized student organizations, professional organizations, or community service.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
