Dennis and Karlene Kingery Scholarship for Aspiring Biology Teachers

Recipients shall be enrolled in the undergraduate Educator Preparation Program with a major in biology, or the Science Education, Master of Arts in Teaching program.
Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a) Students who plan to teach biology in Iowa.
b) Students with verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior, senior or
graduate class standing.
