Ecklund Family Scholarships

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business.
2. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
3. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
4. Recipients shall demonstrate exemplary leadership skills as determined by the administering authority and as evidenced by their active participation in extracurricular activities which involves directing actions, holding office, chairing committees, and/or receipt of awards. Examples of extracurricular activities include involvement in recognized student, business, military, and professional organizations, and community service.
5. Recipients shall be participating in in-person education opportunities, as determined by the administering authority.
6. Recipients shall be from one (1) of the following groups, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Students majoring in supply chain management.
b. Students participating in an immersive study abroad experience.
c. First-generation students.
d. Students majoring in entrepreneurship.
e. Students who are active-duty military members, National Guard, reserves, or veterans.
f. Students majoring in international business.
7. Preference shall be given to students who are members of Habitat for Humanity partner families and who are residing in Habitat for Humanity homes, as determined by the administering authority.
This award shall be made available to students of junior or senior class standing.
