Gary and Margaret Pint Business Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the Ivy College of Business. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. First preference shall be for students with demonstrated financial need. Second preference shall be given to students who have demonstrated leadership as evidenced by participation in extracurricular or community organizations and activities. Examples of extracurricular activities include involvement in recognized student organizations, professional organizations, or community service. Recipients may be of any class standing. This scholarship may be renewed so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.

The Donors are providing $10,000 to support three (3) scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year. Annually the Donors will evaluate the Account and determine whether to provide additional expendable support.
Once the endowment has been fully funded the Donors would like these scholarships to be of significant benefit to the recipients and ask that fewer larger scholarships be awarded annually rather than several small awards. These funds may be used for up to two (2) international study abroad scholarships at the discretion of the administering authority so long as the recipients meet the criteria listed above. Previous recipients are eligible to apply for study abroad scholarships in subsequent years.
