Mores Family Scholarship in Community Journalism

Scholarship is available to undergraduate students with sophomore, junior or senior class standing, majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication. Recipients shall have a demonstrated interest in and commitment to some aspect of community newspaper (print) journalism. These include, but are not limited to, photography, advertising, graphics, production, management, reporting and editing. Preference will be given to Iowa residents and students with financial need. Preference will also be given to those who indicate a commitment to remain actively involved in some aspect of community journalism, preferably in Iowa. Interested students should apply by answering the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences application questions for the Greenlee School.
