Cory and Eun Kleinheksel Honorary Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be selected from one of the following groups in order of preference, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a) Incoming freshman students who are graduates of Wilton Jr-Sr High School in Wilton, Iowa.
b) Students of any class standing who are graduates of Wilton Jr-Sr High School with minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
c) Incoming freshman students who are residents of Iowa.

2. Recipients shall have verified financial need as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.

3. Students meeting criteria 1. and 2. above will then be ranked for consideration in the following order of preference:
a) First preference shall be given to students enrolled in the College of Engineering.
b) Second preference shall be given to students enrolled in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) program.
c) Third preference shall be given to students in the following order, as determined by the administering authority as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
i. Students who have demonstrated leadership or significant participation in the Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) program.
ii. Students who through their experiences, activities, and academic work will contribute to student body diversity.
iii. First-generation college students.

This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
