Cynthia Thorland and Fritz Weitz Completion Grant

1. Recipients shall be full-time students as determined by the administering authority.
2. Recipients shall be from central Iowa which includes the following counties; Boone, Story, Marshall, Dallas, Polk, Jasper, Madison and Warren, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
3. Recipients shall be in good academic standing as determined by the administering authority.
4. Recipients shall show the potential and drive to continue their education but have not had their need fully met through financial aid and scholarships which threatens the completion of their degrees, as determined by the administering authority.
5. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a) Recipients who through their experiences, activities, and academic work will contribute to student body diversity.
b) Recipients who are first-generation college students.
