Richard and Marsha Swanson Teacher Education Scholarship

Recipients shall be majoring in teacher certification or education communication in the Department of Agriculture Education and Studies or Early Childhood Education in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid. This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior or senior class standing.

Administration: The Donor requests that scholarships alternate between the Department of Agriculture and Education Studies and the Department of Human Development and Family studies on an annual basis.
If in any school year, there are no eligible students meeting the above criteria then the scholarship may be awarded to students enrolled in the Department of Music and Theatre majoring in a music education program.
