Learn.Lead.Live - Scott Family STEM Scholarship
1. Recipients shall be enrolled in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) program.
2. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.9 on a 4.0 scale.
3. Recipients shall have either work experience and/or campus or community involvement as determined by the administering authority.
4. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Students who have not had their need fully met through financial aid and scholarships. Students who have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) shall be preferred but it is not required.
b. Students who through their experiences, activities, and academic work will contribute to student body diversity.
c. First-generation college students.
d. Students who are single parents.
e. Students who are non-traditional.
f. Students shall be residents of Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Illinois.
This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior or senior class standing.
