James Katzer Energy Fellowship

1. The annual recipient shall be a graduate student in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
2. The recipient shall be engaged in energy-related research as outlined below.
a. When possible, the choice of the Fellowship Candidate should be such as to foster new and innovative energy-related research in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department; and thus, choice should take research direction and intent into account.
b. From time to time, the Fellowship may be used to support a graduate student who is quantitatively evaluating the relevance and impact of the energy- related research of the Department and College on the state, national and global energy needs and/or on State
or Federal energy policy.
