Mette Lundsgaard Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be majoring in either electrical or mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering.

2. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.

3. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

4. Recipients shall be female as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.

5. Recipients shall be Minnesota residents as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.

6. If there are no students meeting all of the above criteria, the scholarship may be awarded to students in the following order of preference:

a. Female students who meet all of the above criteria who are residents of Iowa,
b. Students who meet all of the above criteria who are residents of Minnesota regardless of gender.

This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
