John R. Wright Civil Engineering Endowed Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering majoring in civil engineering.
2. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
3. Recipients shall be students who have overcome substantial educational or economic obstacles, as determined by the administering authority.
4. Preference shall be given to students who are residents of Polk, Newton, Iowa, Johnson, Muscatine, Cedar, Scott, Louisa, Des Moines, Lee, Henry, Van Buren, Washington, Keokuk, Mahaska, Marion, Indianola, Clarke, Decatur, Wayne, Lucas, Appanoose, Davis, Monroe, Wapello, and Jefferson counties in Iowa as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
