Lucille E. Buol Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Engineering. Recipients shall be citizens of the United States as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy. Recipients shall have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid. Holding true to the “Extra Effort Scholarship” theme, recipients shall have demonstrated both a solid academic record and a visible on-going passion to apply engineering outside the classroom as determined by the administering authority. This may take many forms such as volunteer participation in events like E-week, engineering open house displays, solar car clubs, officer roles in student professional or honorary organizations, or other volunteer engineering projects to benefit society. All awards shall be for one (1) year and may be renewed for up to one (1) additional year at the discretion of the administering authority so long as recipients continue to meet the above stated criteria. This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior and senior class standing.
