Downing Family Scholarship in Engineering

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Engineering.

2. Recipients shall be students who will contribute to student body diversity. In evaluating student body diversity, preference will be given to students who are underrepresented at the University or in their applicable major or program at the time of the award, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.

3. First preference shall be given to female students as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.

4. Second preference shall be given to first-generation college students.

This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
