Barbara Ann Highland Herum Scholarship in Environmental Engineering

Recipients shall be majoring in civil engineering with an emphasis in environmental engineering in the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering. Recipients shall have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid. Recipients shall demonstrate academic merit as determined by the administering authority. Preference shall be given to applicants who demonstrate a broad interest in other areas and are active in extracurricular campus activities as determined by the administering authority. This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior and senior class standing. This scholarship may be renewed for an additional two (2) years so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.

The Donor would like two (2) scholarships to be awarded each year. Additional scholarships may be awarded when earnings to the Account grow sufficiently to make additional awards without diminishing the significance of the awards.
