Tau Beta Pi Scholars Program

Recipients shall be engineering students. Recipients shall be in the top 12.5% of their class based on grade point average at the time of their selection. Recipients shall be attended ISU for at least one semester. Recipients shall have confirmed their interest in (i) participating in mentoring relationships with current Tau Bea Pi members, (ii) participating in Tau Beta Pi Engineering Futures leadership training workshops and speaker forums and (iii) being actively involved in Chapter outreach and community service activities as determined by the administering authority. All scholarships awarded hereunder shall be for one year and may not be renewed. The scholarships shall be made available to undergraduate students with freshman or sophomore class standing at the time of their selection. Number of Awards: The College shall provide the maximum number of $500 scholarships possible (at least one per department) based on the available funds each year. If funds in the Account exceed $12,000, the balance above this amount may be carried over to subsequent years.
