Roy Wiley Scholarship Research Experience Scholarship in Sustainable/Renewable Energy
1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering majoring in electrical engineering.
2. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
3. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
4. Recipients shall be participating in research as determined by the administering authority.
5. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Recipients shall have demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with historically underserved or underprivileged populations.
b. Recipients shall be students with a demonstrated sincere interest in working on sustainable/renewable energy solutions.
This award shall be made available to students of junior or senior class standing.
