Walter N. Handy Memorial Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid Recipients shall have an interest in materials and geotechnical engineering as determined by the administering authority. Recipients shall have graduated from an Iowa high school as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy. This award shall be made available to students who are completing their junior year. This scholarship may be renewed so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.
