VerHeul Family Scholarship in Engineering

Scholarship I (approximately 70% of available funds):
A. Recipient criteria:
1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Engineering with a preference for students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
2. Recipients shall be residents of the State of Iowa, as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy.
3. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
4. Recipients shall be married students as determined by the administering authority. If there are no eligible married students, the Donor, during his lifetime, must be contacted to discuss and approve any exceptions.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.

A. Recipient criteria:
1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Engineering majoring in biomedical engineering.
2. Preference shall be given to married students. If no married students are eligible any student majoring in biomedical engineering may be considered.
