Nicholas L. Reding/Bayer Scholarship in Engineering

Preference shall be given to students majoring in chemical engineering; however, if an inadequate number of chemical engineering applicants are found, electrical and/or mechanical engineering applicants may also be considered. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall demonstrate exemplary leadership skills as determined by the administering authority and as evidenced by their active participation in extracurricular activities which involves directing actions, holding office, chairing committees, and/or receipt of awards. Examples of extracurricular activities include involvement in recognized student organizations, professional organizations, or community service. All awards shall be for (1) year. This award shall be made available to undergraduate students of sophomore, junior and senior class standing.
