Van A. Mensing Memorial Scholarship in Engineering

The recipient shall be enrolled in, or admitted to, the College of Engineering. The recipient shall demonstrate financial need. The recipient shall demonstrate academic excellence as follows: If the applicant is an incoming freshman he/she must have an ACT or equivalent standardized test score in the upper 10% of incoming students. If the applicant is a currently enrolled student he/she must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. All scholarships awarded hereunder shall be for one year, but may be renewed at the discretion of the awarding authority, provided the recipient continues to meet the stated Criteria in Section III, A, above. This scholarship shall be made available to students with undergraduate class standing.
