Larry and Sue Koehrsen Conservation Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Engineering at Iowa State University. Recipients shall demonstrate academic excellence as evidenced by a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid. Preference shall be given to students majoring or minoring in a program with an emphasis on conservation, environmental protection and/or climate change abatement, as determined by the administering authority.. Preference shall be given to students who graduated from a small Iowa high school with a graduating class of 100 or less students, as determined by the administering authority. All awards shall be for one (1) year and may be renewed at the discretion of the administering authority so long as recipients continue to meet the above stated criteria. This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
