Professor Eugene H. Wissler Scholarship

Recipients shall be enrolled in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. Recipients shall have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid. Recipient shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall have graduated from either an Iowa or Minnesota high school as determined by the administering authority. First preference shall be given to students who have worked during the previous summer, are working part-time during the school year, or have a demonstrated plan to work to support their education while pursuing an undergraduate degree as determined by the administering authority. Second preference shall be given to students who are residents of Northwest Iowa as permitted by Federal and State law, and University policy. All awards shall be for one (1) year and may be renewed at the discretion of the administering authority so long as recipients continue to meet the above stated criteria. This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior or senior class standing.
