Fred R. White Memorial Award in Transportation Engineering

This award is to enhance the professional development of a senior student in Transportation Engineering by supporting attendance of the awardee throughout the entire scheduled period of the next Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board held annually in Washington, D.C. during the month of January. Students shall be eligible for the award who meet the following criteria:
1) Are enrolled as undergraduates majoring in Civil Engineering
2) Are classified as seniors
3) Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.85 and have demonstrated leadership ability
4) Have indicated an interest in pursuing a career in transportation engineering

A student who has previously received the Fred R. White Memorial Award shall not be eligible for a second such award.
