Robert O. and Marie E. Dierks Scholarship in Chemical Engineering

This award shall be open to students: a) Enrolled in Chemical Engineering at ISU. b) In need of financial assistance. c) Who are citizens of the United States. (residents and non-residents of Iowa). This scholarship should be given to a borderline student who is working parttime or would have to start working part-time in order to stay in school. The intent of the award should be to allow a student to: 1. quit his/her job, 2. spend more time studying, 3. provide more time for participation in school activities, 4. improve his/her grades. This award should not be given to students with the academic capabilities of receiving other sources of financial aid.
