Caterpillar Inc. Engineering Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled full-time in the College of Engineering majoring in aerospace engineering, agricultural and biosystems engineering, chemical engineering, computer engineering, cyber security engineering, electrical engineering, energy systems, engineering sales, industrial engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or software engineering.
2. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
3. Recipients shall have demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with historically underserved or underprivileged populations, as determined by the administering authority.
4. Recipients shall have a minimum of thirty (30) college credit hours.
5. Preference shall be given to students in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Students who hold leadership positions within or have demonstrated active participation in University clubs and programs currently sponsored by Caterpillar.
b. Students with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
c. First-generation college students.
This award shall be made available to students of undergraduate class standing.
