Thomas R. and Naomi B. Smith Scholarships

Recipients shall be undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Recipients shall demonstrate financial need. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Recipients shall be graduates of a high school in the state of Iowa. Preference shall be given to students who have attended the Volga, Iowa public grade school or middle school system, and have graduated from Elkader public high school or the successors of these two school systems (Central Community School District 161440). This scholarship may be renewed for an additional three (3) years so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.
