Lofgren Family Scholarship in Animal Science

1. Recipients shall be full-time students enrolled in the Department of Animal Science.
2. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
3. Recipients shall be graduates of an Iowa high school.
4. Recipients shall have verified financial need, as documented by the University Office of Student Financial Aid.
5. Recipients shall demonstrate interest and capability of pursuing an advanced degree in some area of nutrition research (either animal or human) as determined by the administering authority.
This award shall be made available to students of junior and senior class standing.

Administration: The Donors would like these scholarships to be of significant benefit to recipients and ask that fewer, larger scholarships be awarded each year rather than several smaller awards.
