CoBank Outstanding Student Scholarship
Sophomore Criteria: Recipients shall be majoring in agricultural business in the Department of Economics. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall have an interest in agricultural finance and cooperatives. First preference shall be given to underrepresented students. Second preference shall be given to students who are active in Ag Business Student Club, Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS), or other leadership opportunities. This award shall be made available to students of sophomore class standing. This scholarship is non-renewable.
Junior, Senior and Graduate Criteria: Recipients shall be majoring in agricultural business in the Department of Economics. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall have an interest in agricultural finance and cooperatives. First preference shall be given to students who have completed an internship related to agricultural finance and/or cooperatives. Second preference shall be given to underrepresented students. Third preference shall be given to students who are active in Ag Business Student Club, Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS), or other leadership opportunities. This award shall be made available to students of junior, senior or graduate class standing. This scholarship may be renewed so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.
The Donor intends to support two (2) scholarships of $1,000 each for students of sophomore class standing, and one (1) scholarship in the amount of approximately $4,175 for a junior, senior or graduate student each year.
