Scott David Wikner Memorial Scholarship

Recipients shall be majoring in Agricultural Business in the Department of Economics. Recipients shall have demonstrated leadership as evidenced by participation in the Agriculture Business Club. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. First preference shall be given to students who reside in the following central Iowa counties: Adair, Boone, Dallas, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Story, Tama, Warren, or Webster. Second preference shall be given to students who have demonstrated financial need. This award shall be made available to students of sophomore and junior class standing. The scholarship may be renewed so long as recipients continue to meet the above stated criteria.

Award amounts shall be equal to one-half of in-state tuition or the annual earnings if the earnings are less than one-half of the cost of in-state tuition.
