James Scharff Future Mathematics Educator Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be enrolled in the Education Preparation Program majoring in mathematics, including students completing their M.A.T degree in mathematics.
2. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
3. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a. Students who are Iowa residents.
b. Students who intend to teach math in a public school.
This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior, senior, and graduate class standing.
