Pilcher Scholarship for Leaders in Agriculture

Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall demonstrate leadership in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences as evidenced by their participation in student organizations. This award shall be made available to students of sophomore, junior or senior class standing. This scholarship may be renewed so long as recipients continue to meet stated criteria.

Applicants shall submit a short essay describing an agricultural leadership experience in which the applicant made a difference. The applicant shall also describe a specific activity or experience that was important in clarifying the applicant’s career aspirations.
