Kolschowsky Foundation Scholarships

1. Recipients shall be enrolled full-time in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
2. Recipients shall be students who through their experiences, activities, and academic work will contribute to student body diversity, as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law.
3. Recipients shall be from one (1) of the following groups:
a) Students with verified financial need, as documented by the Office of Student Financial aid.
b) Students who have overcome substantial educational or economic obstacles, as determined by the administering authority.
4. Recipients shall be in good academic standing, as determined by the administering authority. If students appear equal in qualifications their grade point average shall be used to determine the most qualified recipient.
5. Preference shall be given in the following order as determined by the administering authority and as permitted by Federal and State law and University policy:
a) Students who have graduated from Proviso East Township or Proviso West Township high school.
b) First-generation college students.
c) Students who have graduated from Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences.
d) Students who are United States citizens or permanent residents.
This award shall be made available to incoming first-year students or transfer students.
