Koehn Family Business and Entrepreneurial Scholarship

Recipients shall be members of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, as determined by the administering authority. Recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Engineering, the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business, or the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Recipients shall be active in at least one Tau Kappa Epsilon Chapter activity and one campus activity, as determined by the administering authority. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.85 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients shall intend to own, operate, and run their own company and be “self-employed” in some way following graduation, as determined by the administering authority. This award shall be made available to students of freshman, sophomore or junior class standing.

Administration: Recipients shall submit an essay to the Tau Kappa Epsilon scholarship committee describing their passion and desire for their planned business or self-employment. The Donors would like the awards to be of significant benefit and the annual Distributions to be divided equally among three (3) to four (4) recipients with the possibility of adding additional significant awards in the future.
